Rejection Letters

Thankfully, God knows best. I'm completely and awe filled at wonder with what God does with our lives (when we give him control). But sometimes, we don't see the immediate future. About three months ago, I applied to work this summer at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Today, I got my rejection letter. I was upset, but not completely heartbroken. Yes, Disneyland was a big aspiration, but was it what God had in mind for my summer? Apparently not.

His plan is slowly revealing itself to me and it is absolutely beautiful. It does still include visiting California, but also involves doing work in His kingdom in the form of building a house for a needy family in Mexico. Other than that, I'm very excited to see what He has in store for me. It's difficult accepting that I won't be a castmember again anytime in the near future, but I have an odd happiness about this rejection letter.

In 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18 proclaims that we should,
Rejoice always.Pray without ceasing.Give thanks in all circumstances.THIS is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus.
This is what I am trying to do. Giving thanks in all circumstances. And if we keep our eyes focused on God, it will be easier to rejoice always, and give thanks in all of our circumstances. So, like I said earlier God knows best, I don't.

Love,
Shae
