(This was supposed to be published last Summer, but looking back at it just makes me so happy for what I've done and where I'm going. I've decided to add this and an update, so enjoy!)
So it has been awhile. I feel like my life this year has been nothing short of a beautiful disaster, and I mean it truely. The spring semester of my first year at Mississippi State was eye opening, for sure. I grew spiritually and emotionally. But this summer is definitely one for the books. I was determined starting in December of last year to get a internship or COOP (basically a longer internship) for this summer. What I didn't know is God had that in the plans as well.
He put it in my heart to be so adamantly strung on this idea. I put in for so many internships, around like 50. What I didn't know was that God was planning on me meeting quite a few amazing and quirky people.
On leap day, I was called by Faurecia Manufacturing about an offer to be an intern this summer. They supply the seats to a local Nissan plant. I was amazed. I didn't know ANYTHING about making seats and I barely knew about manufacturing, because I hadn't really gotten too far into my actual major classes.
